Meridian House Wedding Photography :: Hannah and Ben

 

These dream come true weddings keep happening, and we can’t get enough. Hannah and Ben’s bright and elegant wedding at the Meridian House in Northwest DC was simply amazing. The decor was spot on, the fuchsia and citrus hues were gorgeous, and the gathered look to the floral design added an element of fun. Classic is the best way to describe the bridal party, with the guys in tailored black tuxes, and the girls in clean lines and feminine skirts. Hannah was radiant… nothing was out of place and she wore her smile all day. And can we talk about her hair? Come on! The weather was the best you could ask for in late August. Guests arrived for the ceremony, and sat under the trees in the gardens as the couple said their vows. A cocktail hour to end all cocktail hours was had in the grove, where grecian sculptures came to life thanks to an incredible ensemble of modern dancers. The ballroom decor took the look of the bouquets to a whole new level. While guests enjoyed a delicious meal, the toasts kept coming and so did some happy tears. When the dancing started, it never stopped, and a sparkler send off whisked the couple away. There are far too many photos in this blog post. Hannah and Ben, you did it! You had YOUR day. It was magical, absolutely magical and we can’t thank you enough for bringing us into it. Watching you experience this day was a pleasure, and we’ll treasure the hidden moments we were able to be present for. Congratulations on your new marriage. May you dance together, even if only in your living room, for the rest of your lives.
