The 2017 wedding season has begun! We’re so excited to be “back” and even though we’re still pushing through tax season, the switch from behind the scenes/business work to shooting/editing work is a welcome one! This year, we’re easing into wedding season. Just one wedding this month, then another in April before things take off with a jam packed May and June. Our first official Monday Minutes of 2017 is happening today, and although you won’t see these weekend update posts on the regular yet, they will be happening more and more leading up to May.
On Saturday Rachael and Sam were married at Greenwell Foundation in Southern Maryland. This couple has our hearts. She is as kind as she is beautiful, and he is equally protective and caring towards everyone he loves. They couldn’t be more perfect for one another! We had the chance to work with a dream team of vendors on this one and so we were spoiled on our first wedding of the year. More from this simply gorgeous wedding later in the week!
Yesterday we met up with Megan and Nate for a sunset engagement session in St. Mary’s City! The weather wasn’t as cold as we anticipated, so we powered through and thanks to this fun couple, the photos will never give it away that they were a little chilly.
