Rebranding Part Two

Business

The new brand is so close to being complete! Our amazing designer is working hard behind the scenes to perfect the website, and soon we’ll have a reveal date and a countdown to share! (The new logo is probably our favorite part so far!!!) One of the things that was on our massive to do list for this rebrand, was to take new head shots. It’s something we don’t enjoy. Truth be told, having our own photos taken isn’t our favorite thing, which is why we completely understand when our couples say “we’re not photogenic”. We know how they feel! But… we promise they are great at being photographed, they just don’t know it yet. We also needed a photographer we could trust, and one who could keep us feeling relaxed and comfortable.

It was time to have updated head shots, and we reached out to a good friend and fantastic photographer for help. Katrina is a joy to work with, and she made us feel comfortable on the other side of the camera, which is usually nearly impossible. Experiencing what it’s like to have our own photos taken is always a great reminder of what our couples experience, and it’s so useful for us as photographers. Katrina strolled with us around our home town, talking and laughing with us, stopping here and there to take some photos. It was so fun! We just love our new head shots and we can’t thank Katrina enough! These will be on our About page on our new website, and we can’t wait to reveal it! Look for a release date announcement soon!

We also need to give a huge thank you to Miranda Paige Beauty  for getting us photo ready. Miranda is the sweetest girl, and an incredible makeup artist. She has done our makeup for our promo video shoot, as well as for our head shots with Katrina, and she has made us feel beautiful both times. Now if we could get her to put our faces on for us every day… we’d be set! Thank you Miranda!
