Wow! What a fun weekend we had! Not only did we have the pleasure of photographing an engagement session, we also go tot photograph a wedding… and both were with the same couple! Sometimes schedules get a little hectic but we made it a priority to fit an engagement session in with Brittany and Dustin before their big day. It may have been only two days before the big day, but it happened and we had the chance to get to know them in front of our cameras. It turns out having that time to practice taking portraits was a great thing too. On their Saturday wedding, the weather cooperated most of the day, but we did have massive storm clouds and strong winds coming our way the moment the ceremony ended. This amazing couple rushed with us to the dock for some portraits on the water before the skies opened up, and the sheets of rain fell. We had to work quickly, but they were so natural together the portraits became effortless… even with impending hurricane force winds behind them.
