Tips and Tricks

Happy Friday! Today we thought we’d close out the week with another Tips and Tricks post. Today we’re focusing on getting the stationary from your wedding documented in photos. The colors and design of your invitations sets the stage for your big day. It’s the first piece to the puzzle your guests will see, so it’s always exciting when we get to photograph those invitation suites on the wedding day along with the other elements that make a wedding unique. It feels very full circle, seeing the invitation displayed against a bridesmaids dress with the Bride’s matching bouquet in the background. Of course, we can only photograph the stationary if we can get our hands on it! Which brings us to today’s suggestion… save a copy or two of all of your stationary items! Keep them safe in a folder and bring it with you to your bridal suite the morning of your wedding. We’ll use the invitation in the staging of many of the detail photos. A small thing to remember can add a lot of impact when you see your full collection of photos, especially when designing an album!

One of our favorite things to do, is put the rings on the invitation…
