After an amazing week spent with our most loved ones (and of course a week that felt too short) we’re back in the office today! Our first task is to get through our inbox, we’ll be playing catch up on the gazillion emails that came in while we were away, and getting back into the swing of things. If you haven’t heard from us as of this morning, don’t panic… we’re knocking out a lot of emails today one at a time so please be patient. It will most likely take us the entire day to get through them all, but we will get back to you!
Our time at the beach was one for the books. We did exactly as we intended to do, and completely unplugged long enough to connect with our family, recharge our batteries and refresh our minds. We even held back with the cameras! The first few days on the beach we didn’t bring a single camera with us! It wasn’t until the end of the week that we broke them out for a few shots here or there. In fact, we used our “little camera” which is nothing more than a point and shoot most of the time. It felt strange but it was a nice change. Of those that we took, here are some snapshots of our time away…

We managed to get up one morning to watch the sun rise, always worth it…
Our little ocean boy got his very first boogie board! He loved it!

The weather was awesome! We only had one cloudy/rainy day but we still go to play on the beach for a while.
Our last night at the beach, we realized it might be the last chance to get some photos of Sweet Cheeks with his super long hair. It’s being cut soon (ahhhh!)
We DID get a lot of family photos just like last year, but this time around we had the help of some friends in the industry 😉 No tripods for us this year! Eventually some of those photos will make it to the blog 😉
Tomorrow we begin a look back at our first half of the wedding season, so stay tuned for that!
