Happy Cinco de Mayo! And Monday 😉
We’re back today with a recap of our weekend. There was so much to be done, and we were so focused on the work that we never got our phones out for any behind the scenes iphone shots. Instead we’ll share two sneak peeks from this weekend’s gorgeous wedding and styled shoot.
- Friday was spent trying to save our styled shoot. The flowers that arrived from our wholesaler were too far past their peak to make it to Sunday’s shoot, and most were dead. So we spent the day scrambling to find new flowers. Luckily a call to Whole Foods and a little sweet talking got us all the same flowers we had ordered from the wholesaler. Hooray! We were saved! (This flower adventure is a post for another day).
- Friday night we crashed early, knowing we had an early wake up call the next morning.
- Saturday arrived early, and we were up before the sun. We even made it into Old Town to begin shooting before the sun woke up! It was so worth it for Ellen and Perry’s incredible brunch wedding. This day just kept getting better and better with each moment, and we cannot wait to share the photos with you! Here’s a sneak peek at just one we’re loving…

- On our way home that afternoon, we stopped by Whole Foods to pick up our flowers, which were beautiful! Then we headed home to start prepping the stems. When we were all finished it was time for dinner, so we called out for Chinese delivery and relaxed with the boys.
- Sunday was styled shoot day! We packed two cars full of equipment, buckets of flowers, props, vases, and anything else you could imagine. Then we headed down to Summerseat Farm for the day. We had our hands in water and oasis all afternoon but we were so excited with how things turned out. There will be so much more to show you from this shoot, but for now here’s a quick look at just one…

Have a great day!
