Emily and Lee :: Bowles Farm Southern Maryland Wedding Photography

Emily and Lee’s wedding day was the last for us this year. We couldn’t have asked for a better couple to share it with! Emily was the kind of Bride who was so happy to be married, a little fog and mist didn’t bother her at all. And Lee was the kind of Groom who did all he could to make his Bride happy. Take a look at their amazing wedding day…

Thanks to the weather, we needed to make some drastic changes in our plans for photos. While Emily and Lee had always planned on having a first look, they didn’t expect to do ALL of their portraits (bridal party included) prior to the ceremony. In fact, we didn’t even plan on doing their first look at Bowles Farm. But with heavy cloud cover forecasted all day, we knew we wouldn’t have a sunset and we wouldn’t have any light after the ceremony finished. So we got everyone ready a little sooner than expected, updated the limo driver (who was a saint for driving everyone across the county all day), and made our way to the farm early. Of course, once our plans are set and everyone feels good about the new schedule, the clouds begin to let out a mist. It didn’t stop us though! Emily and Lee were not bothered at all by a little mist and went straight through their first look and portraits. We work with the BEST couples!

As soon as we were about to head to the church, the famous red truck from their engagement session pulled in as a surprise for the couple. Naturally, we had to take a few shots with it!

Even the bridal party didn’t mind the weather! This was such an awesome group to work with! Thank you guys!

Such pretty details. Emily made just about all of what you see!

Emily and Lee – Watching you two on your wedding day was such a joy. Thank you for letting us be there, cameras in hand, to document it all. Thank you for being so eager to take a little time out of the day for photos, and for being willing to stand in a cornfield on a cold, misty afternoon. Getting to know you over the past year (and some months) has been a pleasure, and we sure hope you’ll keep in touch. You are each other’s perfect match, and we can’t wait to see what life has waiting for you. We have no doubt it will be magical. Congrats! Love you both… M&B
