Monday Minutes :: March 31, 2014

Hey guys! Where did March go?! Did you have a fun weekend? Ours was a lot of fun! Here’s this week’s Monday Minutes post to get you caught up on everything we did this weekend. We’re even going to start using bullet points in these posts to keep it simple  😉  Over the weekend we photographed a beautiful wedding, experienced a new venue, talked to a lot of new couples at a bridal show, drank a lot of coffee, and even photographed a very last minute wedding on the fly.

• Friday morning we got an unexpected call from a fellow wedding vendor asking for help. A couple Bride and Groom were about to say their vows, and their photographer was suddenly unavailable. Naturally, we had to help! We’ll tell you more about our eventful Friday morning later in the week. Even we’re amazed at how quickly we were able to put down our work, run home to put on dress clothes, pack a bag of equipment, rush to the courthouse and arrive just in time for the ceremony to begin 😉
• Later Friday night we headed across the street from our studio to Casey’s for a night with friends before the rush of the weekend took over.

• Saturday was a wedding day, and we headed up to Elkridge Furnace Inn. This is a beautiful venue that we fell in love with, and we hope to work there more!
• No matter how much rain came down on Saturday, our couple was elated to be married. They were willing to get out into the rain for some really romantic photos, and we couldn’t be happier that they decided to jump out from under the porch for a few shots. We can’t wait to share their wedding with you later in the week!

• Yesterday was A Bridal Affair at Swan Point, and Kimberly Bean along with Jennifer Merryman outdid themselves! The show was a smashing hit, and 5 lucky (incredibly lucky) couples are in the running to win a $28,000 dream wedding giveaway! Ahhh!
• We met with a lot of great couples, and we are looking forward to more consultations in the coming weeks! With that being said, our 2015 calendar is filling quickly and we couldn’t be more grateful. Be in touch soon! Spring/Summer dates are almost full, and the Fall dates are next to go.
