Hi everyone! Did you have a good Easter weekend? We did and hope you did too! We ate a ton of food, so we thought with such beautiful weather in the forecast we’d drive into DC for some zoo time yesterday. Nothing like a good hike around the National Zoo to burn off a few of those calories. We lucked out with one heck of a parking spot, and didn’t have to metro AT ALL. Yay! (Because riding the metro on a crowded day with a toddler is zero fun). The weather was perfect and the animals were out and about. This was Sweet Cheek’s first visit to the zoo, and although he’s still a tad too young to really get it, he did love the Pandas, Otters, and the Great Ape House. Here are a few shots of our visit to the Zoo. Maggie spent the majority of the day running after Sweet Cheeks and talking in a baby voice to the animals (she does this), so it was up to Betty to handle the day’s photography.
This otter was our favorite. We wanted to take him home with us.
Now that our mini spring break is finished, we get to dive right into wedding season! Here’s what’s in store for us this week:
1. Sunrise engagement session along the Tidal Basin tomorrow morning
2. Debbie and Ryon’s wedding this Saturday
3. Wedding Show at Greenwell this Sunday – Come out and see us!
We’ll be back again this week with images from tomorrow’s engagement session, and next week with images from the weekend’s events. Have a great afternoon!
