As some of you may know, we are adamant that Thanksgiving comes first in the holiday season. Christmas trees, lights, music, decorations or anything of the sort are totally off limits until the day after Thanksgiving. It’s not easy for us to do (because we love Christmas!) but we managed to do it this year. Yesterday’s meal was wonderful, the day was relaxing, time with family was incredible, and we soaked up the last day during the “harvest” season. Now… it’s time to haul out the Christmas decorations and get that stuff up! We waited long enough!
Today, and over the weekend we’ll be in full Christmas prep mode, gearing up for as much Christmas goodness we can. We’ll start by breaking out the Christmas mugs then we’re off to pick out our live tree at the tree farm! Then there might even be a little shopping in our plans 😉
