Pumpkin Patch

This past weekend was a relaxing one for us. Without a wedding on the schedule, we were able to enjoy a family Saturday and so we decided it was the perfect day to take Sweet Cheeks to the pumpkin patch. The last two years we didn’t really “do” the pumpkin patch. Sure we picked up some pumpkins and took a picture in front of the hay bales, but he was still too little to really run, play and enjoy all the fun at the farm. This year though, he was finally big enough to make the most of this trip. So we went to Bowles Farm for the day and he had a blast! It’s a shame we can’t do a pumpkin patch trip every weekend, because this kid can’t get enough of the corn maze and tractor rides 😉

While we were waiting in line to buy some cupcakes, Sweet Cheeks sat in this rocking chair. Then he pretended to be asleep and snore. When his Daddy asked him what he was doing, the boy said “shhhh Dad, I’m sleeping!” Hopefully that helps explain the looks on his face below…

Oh, and he had his face painted. LOVED it.

And Mama gave him his first taste of caramel apples. LOVED those too!
