We’re so excited to be participating in the Washington Wedding Experience again this year! Not only are we going to have our booth open at this event, we’re also giving a talk in the Wedding Workshop! This year, the event will feature a line up of workshops designed to help couples as they plan their big day. The event organizers asked us if we would talk about an area we know pretty well, and wedding day timelines were the first thing that came to mind.
When we work with our couples, we do far more than show up and take pictures. A complete timeline that considers all aspects of their wedding day is thought through, and developed by us with the help of our couples. Our goal with this timeline development, is to do everything possible to make sure our couples have a stress free, fun day. We also need to ensure we’re given the opportunities to create the photos our couples want. Balancing photography timeline, and wedding day events can be a daunting task, but over the years we’ve come to learn ways to achieve a cohesive flow to any wedding day.
Our talk at the Washington Wedding Experience will be about just that! How to prepare a wedding day timeline with photography in mind. We’ll give away some of our personal tips and tricks on how we create the best timelines for our couples, and we’ll hopefully help couples avoid timing mistakes early on in their planning process. We’ll talk about where to begin, important details to remember, and offer suggestions on tricky timing situations.
