Monday Minutes :: August 17, 2015

Well hello! Welcome back to another week! This past weekend was our last one without a wedding for a long time. We’re officially into Late Summer/Fall Season and it’s jam packed with adorable couples and their awesome weddings. Over the next 10 weeks we’ll photograph 12 weddings! Wahoo! We’ll get a break for Halloween (because it’s Maggie’s thing) and then we’re back into weekend after weekend of weddings until Thanksgiving. This time of year is so exciting! The weather will begin to cool down, days will get shorter, and hopefully we have some gorgeous seasonal colors to work with as the leaves change. Lots of engagement sessions will pop up this time of year as well. We’re always a little sad to see sweet summer go, but there’s something about the Fall that inspires us.

Although we didn’t have a wedding over the weekend, we did get to photograph Catherine and Jon’s engagement session in DC. Meridian Hill Park is full of fabulous backdrops and hidden places for photos. We loved strolling through the park with these two. And yes, they really are as adorable as they look!
