Looking Ahead :: 2016 & 2017 Wedding Calendar

Every year around this time, we have the unfortunate task of telling interested couples that their wedding date is booked in our calendar. It’s our least favorite thing to do. As our 2016 calendar fills in, we find ourselves wishing we had the ability to work with more couples. So often we hear “I wish I had known to contact you sooner!’ So today we’re reminding all of those couples out there, planning a 2016 wedding to reach out to your favorite vendors early. Right away, send out emails to your favorite DJ’s, videographers, photographers, bakeries, hair and makeup artists, day of coordinators and anyone else you really want to work with. Each year will be different, but on average the majority of our wedding dates fill 12 o 18 months in advance. Here’s the way 2016 looks now…

Winter Dates – We will be accepting a small number of winter wedding dates in 2016. We have room for 3 more weddings January through March.

Spring Dates – Just two Saturday dates remain open in April, with May and June being fully booked for Saturday weddings. Friday and Sunday weddings are extremely limited this time of year, but be sure to inquire.

Summer Dates – We consider July and August to be our “summer months” and right now only one July Saturday remains open. There are plenty of dates available in August, so that’s good!

Fall Dates – These dates are just as popular as Spring, but with more time to plan we have a few extra open dates this season. September through November is halfway full with most availability in November. No Saturday dates remain available in September, and only two remain available in October.

 

INFO FOR 2017 COUPLES

The inquiries for 2017 dates are starting to come in, and although we have not opened our 2017 calendar for official bookings yet, we are starting to schedule consultations for 2017 couples. We plan on opening the 2017 calendar in the Fall of this year, but in the meantime we will be talking with any 2017 couple who is interested in working with us, in preparation for that time.

 

We’re shaking our heads at how lucky we are, and looking at this post makes us wonder why we deserve such blessings. We’re so thankful and grateful for the chance to do what we love. Thank you for considering us to be your photographers!
