We’re back today with our 11th wedding of the season in the books! That hardly seems possible! This year seems to be rushing by faster than any other!
Over the weekend we had the pleasure of working with Stephanie and Brian on their wedding day. We woke up Saturday morning, knowing it was going to be a complete wash out. 100% chance of rain from 2 to 9pm, exactly when we would do the bulk of our shooting. This was going to be the rainy wedding day we’d been planning for. Plan B was in place, and we arrived with 16 umbrellas in hand, ponchos for ourselves, storm camera gear and towels. Our couple was amazing, and totally on board for outdoor portraits in the rain, and we had everything planned out. It was going to be fun, even if it wasn’t ideal. It rained all morning, it rained during the ceremony, it poured all night long during the reception. But… we had two breaks from the showers. Once when it was time for bridal party photos, and once more when it was time for Bride and Groom portraits. We simply couldn’t believe it! Not only did the rain stop, allowing us to photograph our couple the way we had hoped (Plan A), we had gorgeous, overcast light! Here’s a sneak peek at one of our favorites from their big day…
We hope you all had a great weekend! We’ll be back again tomorrow!
