Every once in a while, while we’re shooting a wedding or engagement session, we’ll snap a quick shot of one another. Usually we do this when the other is looking a little ridiculous, because… well why not? Plus we’re all about documenting life, and this is our life. So we’re adding yet another series to the blog this year. From time to time we’ll give you a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes. 90% of the time we’ll be laughing at ourselves. You’ve been warned 😉
Balancing on unstable rocks to get a good shot is the extent of our “rock climbing” experience and we’re pleased to keep it that way.
Years of dance training have led to this moment, when a well placed straddle comes in handy and keeps Maggie from falling into the water.
Katie and Eric’s session was a lot of fun, and we loved working with them! But it was NOT as warm as those two made it look. Betty went under hoodie cover early on. It makes her look very National Geographic don’t you think? She almost looks like she might be braving the harsh winds of the Antarctic, rather than temperatures in the 60’s  😉
The following photo was taken during the conversation seen below:
M: What the hell is that?! Oh *explicative* that’s so *explicative* gross!
B: What? It’s just a dead fish. Poor guy he washed up on the beach.
M: You can see his gills.
B: Yeah, fish have gills.
M: I don’t want to see his gills. Oh *explicative* it looks like he’s looking at me. He is isn’t he?
B: I really don’t think he’s looking at you. Move, I want to take his picture.
M: Oh Mom! That’s so gross. Stop it.
B: What?! It’s nature!!
M: It’s official. I don’t like nature.
Betty seriously took the dead fish’s picture.
