This past Saturday marked the last wedding of the 2017 year for us! Sheila and Richard were married in Washington DC, with a ceremony at St. Matthew’s Cathedral and a reception at Hotel Monaco. Aside from the bittersweet notion that this was our last wedding of the year, we have to say that their wedding was the best possible way to end 2017. Sheila is sweet, kind and always so warm towards us. Richard is equally kind, thoughtful, and always very funny under the radar, keeping us laughing all day. The day went smoothly, the bridal party was wonderful and supportive, their families were delightful, and the whole setting couldn’t have been prettier. To top it all off, we had the fun of photographing this wedding on a snowy day! Yes! You know we love a good rainy wedding day, but we might just love a snowy wedding day more! We got the kind of snow that floated around in the breeze for a while before landing on the ground, making for especially fun portraits outside! We can’t wait to share more of our last 2017 wedding on the blog soon! For now, here’s a preview!
