Although it looked like we might have yet another rainy wedding day on our hands, we ended up with the perfect weather and pretty overcast skies for Kathy and Aaron’s big day at Bluemont Vineyards this past Saturday. We have been waiting for this wedding for so long! Kathy reminds us of a prettier version of Katy Perry, and we have a crush on her style. Aaron is the quiet kind of funny that sneaks up on you, and we have a thing for men with ponytails. Needless to say, this wedding was all that we could have imagined it to be for this sweet couple. The florals, muted bridesmaids dresses, floral crowns, and all of the decor elements were the icing on the cake. More from their big day later in the week but for now here’s a preview!
When our Brides send us emails to give us the good news of a baby on the way, we realize how much more we love this job than we already did. Watching our couples become parents is a thrill, and we can’t be happier for Nicole and Ian! They are a couple of ours from a little while back, and their baby is on the way! We were so thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph a maternity session for them, and we’ll share some favorites with you on the blog this week too!
