Wedding Giveaway 2017/2018

 

So what’s the big news? We’re giving away a full day of wedding photography… again! That’s right! It’s time again for our annual wedding giveaway!

Someone asked us yesterday “are you seriously still doing that?” YEP! We are! We believe in paying things forward, throwing goodness around like confetti, and spreading a little extra love whenever we can. We don’t ever want to be too big for our britches… and this giveaway is good for our souls.

In an industry where photographers are selling the secrets to success right and left, we fully realize that in most cases, becoming a successful wedding photographer comes from constant, hard work… and lots and lots of luck. We got to this place in our careers and in our lives, in part, because a few random things fell into place for us. We had the good fortune of meeting the right people, and being in the right place at the right time as we built this business. Nothing was handed to us, but we did benefit from a number of stars aligning just right. That’s what this giveaway contest is to us. A chance for us to align the stars just right for a couple out there who could use a little good fortune. We just want to pay it forward.

That’s who we’re looking for this year. Couples who could use a win. Maybe they’ve hit some bumps in the road that haven’t been too pleasant. Maybe times are tough. Maybe they deserve something to fall into their favor this time around. If you are one of those couples, or if you know of a couple who fits that bill… tell us about them. Official Entry Rules for the Birds of a Feather Photography wedding photography giveaway:

You must be 18 years or older to enter

Your wedding must take place in 2018

Your wedding must take place in the United States, international locations are not permitted.

Wedding locations outside of the DC Metro area are accepted, but travel fees and accommodations will be required at the expense of the winning couple.

Couples who have already booked with Birds of a Feather Photography are not eligible for this contest.

You cannot already have a contract with another wedding photographer. (Contestants should not break standing contracts with other photographers to enter this contest)

Your wedding must be on a day that is available in Birds of a Feather Photography’s 2018 calendar. This will be confirmed for all nominations.

You must have a set date and venue when entering this contest.

Finalists will be notified by email, and will have 48 hours to respond and accept nomination.

A contract must be signed and returned to Birds of a Feather Photography within 2 weeks of winning.

If the winning couple cannot claim their prize for any reason, they will be disqualified, and the runners-up will be awarded the prize at the discretion of Birds of a Feather Photography.

Only one couple will be awarded the grand prize.

This wedding giveaway prize cannot be sold, traded, transferred, or exchanged for cash or any other item or service.

All federal, state, and local taxes, fees and surcharges are the responsibility of the prize winners.
