Today’s Monday Minutes is a little different! We didn’t have a wedding or engagement session this weekend! Strange huh? August is typically a little slower than other months in the summer and this weekend was one that we kept open. It was nice to have weekend time available, because it gave us the opportunity to meet with a lot of new 2017 couples! In fact, we had the chance to sit down and sip coffee with 5 new couples this weekend! We listened to proposal stories, talked wedding planning, and just enjoyed getting to know these awesome couples! More 2017 wedding dates have been secured and now we get to start planning new engagement sessions!
It’s booking season around here, and we’re hearing from more and more couples that they didn’t realize how quickly venues and photographers book up. As a bit of a status update, our 2017 calendar is officially halfway full, and right now we have room for 15 more weddings in 2017. Dates are filling pretty evenly throughout the year, so there are several dates available Spring through Fall, but they are of course limited. The blog will be pretty quiet this week. Without anything new to share, we don’t want to bore you. This week, we’ll be gearing up for our big Fall bridal show coming up! Lots of printing, sorting, painting, and cleaning. Super fun!
