This weekend marked the halfway point of our 2016 season! We can’t believe how quickly this wedding season is flying by! Over the weekend we had such a fun time photographing two beautiful couples during their engagement sessions, one at a historic home in DC and the other along the water in Solomons Island. Then, we had the pleasure of photographing Jamie and George’s wedding in Southern Maryland. It was a beautiful weekend with great weather, and lots of laughter. It was such an awesome weekend! If we’re being honest, we might be a little more excited this Monday than usual. Not only do we have some wonderful couples to share with you this week, we’re also looking forward to our midseason vacation. The past 6 months have been some of the best ever, and we’ve loved every minute of it, but we’ve been going nonstop and it’s time for some recharging. The second half of the season is going to be just as fun as the first, and we want to be ready for it! We’ll be here all week, posting engagements and weddings, as well as a look back at some favorites from the first half of the season. Next week however, we’ll be away, so this is the last Monday Minutes you’ll see for a few weeks.
Here are some previews of what’s to come to the blog this week! Check ’em out!
Patricia and Sanford hung out with us in the Georgetown neighborhood of DC and we are smitten. Can’t get enough of this adorable couple! More from their session tomorrow!
Jamie and George were nothing but smiles and happy tears on their big day! These two had our hearts swelling as we watched so many beautiful moments happen right in front of us. We’re pretty sure we cried more at this wedding than at any other this year!! Come back on Wedding Wednesday to see their day!
Last night we hung out with Katie and Dan on Solomons Island, chatted about their wedding plans, and photographed their engagement session. The light was gorgeous and the weather was just perfect. This was the best way to finish out our sessions before the halfway point break! See their session later this week!
