Last Saturday we woke up to dark skies and heavy clouds. An hour later snow was falling from the sky in big flakes, and soon the grass was covered in a pretty dusting. As we headed into Alexandria, VA for the start of the wedding day coverage, it turned to rain. By the afternoon, when it was time for portraits, the sun was shining and the snow was gone! Diana and Mike had some pretty interesting weather on their wedding day, but the best parts of the day were far more memorable. Diana and Mike are incredibly kind, genuine and welcoming. They made us feel like a part of the family, and their families made us feel like good friends. This became a special day for us as well, as we connected with this couple, their bridal party and their families. Take a look at this classically beautiful Bride, handsome Groom in his dress whites, navy and white colors, and simplistic elegance. And the dancing… this was a party! These are just some of our favorites…
Diana and Mike, we can’t begin to tell you how much we enjoyed getting to know you both. The icing on the cake, was getting to know your family and friends… they are just as kind and generous as you two are! What a beautiful day you had, and we know a beautiful life is ahead of you. Thank you, a million times, for letting us document this part of your love story. All our love, M&B.
