Woodlawn Farm Wedding Photography :: Rachel and Brandon

If we’ve ever experienced a perfect Fall day, this was it. The air was crisp, but not cold. The sun was warm and bright, and the wind was still. The water looked like glass at Woodlawn Farm when we arrived that morning. Everything was still, quiet and just beautiful. In all honesty, when we walked into the manor house it didn’t feel like a wedding day. It was too quiet, too calm, too peaceful to feel like a typical wedding day which usually includes anxious hustle and chatter. You see, all the very same things were going on around us just like every other wedding day, but Rachel and Brandon were two steady forces that seemed to slow everything down. They were so focused on each other, on the marriage, and on their love for one another that nothing else seemed to matter. Rachel looked stunning, her hair and makeup done to perfection. Brandon was suited up and handsome as ever. The fall colors came through in their details and decor. The rings and ribbons and bouquets were all there, and every detail about this wedding was lovely, but Rachel and Brandon are what made the day feel so magical. They were like that water, still and calm. They cared only about being married, and so the rest of the day seemed to move around them in slow motion. We wish more wedding days felt this way. You both gave us reasons to catch our breath behind our cameras, as we watched incredible moments unfold. You really did make this day feel different for us, in such an amazing way.
