Hey there! We hope you all had a great weekend! Ours was jam packed, but lots of fun. We realized this weekend that Fall is truly here. Not only did we need a light jacket early in the morning come Sunday, we were in one of those “busy” weekends where there isn’t much time to slow down. The schedule this past weekend included an engagement session by the water with a sweet couple, a gorgeous wedding day for our former assistant and her Groom (ahhhh!), and one of the biggest bridal shows of the season! Not sure if we “slept” this weekend. More like “napped” but we’re back today with a second wind and lots of editing and emails to attend to. We’re just so happy to be working, so you won’t hear any complaints out of us!
Here’s a quick look at Lauren and Charlie on their wedding day. This girl is so special to us! As a former assistant of ours, she had learned the ins and outs of how we work, behind the scenes. Having the chance to photograph HER bridal portraits that morning had us secretly holding back the tears. The handsome Groom, intimate ceremony, lush greenery, and elegant decor made this day even more wonderful. We’ll have more from their big day on the blog later this week!
Megan and Jimmy met us by the water for their engagement session, and even though the storm clouds were close by they never interrupted our photo time! We lucked out with this gorgeous couple, and cooperative rain clouds! Here’s a current favorite from their session…
