We’re back! Ahhhh it feels good to be home, and though it may sound a little strange, it feels really good to be back at work too. But you see, that’s just it. That’s why we’re the lucky ones, because we love the work we do. We love it so much we look forward to coming back to work after a glorious vacation that never seems long enough. Of course our heart sinks whenever we take that last look at the ocean before packing into the cars and heading home, there’s nothing like time with family at Ocean City (for us). But we don’t dread what’s waiting for us here. We crave it, we thrive in it, and we love it. So yeah, it’s good to be back at it this morning, overflowing inbox and all.
Our time away did what we had hoped it would do. We’re refreshed, recharged, and we can’t wait to tackle all that’s in store for the second half of the busy season. And it’s a good thing, because it’s going to be a big season! We hope you had a great week while we were gone! Ours was as good as we can remember, and we might even dare to say it was the best beach trip yet! We’re here today, with our Monday Minutes recap of not just the most recent weekend, but the previous week too. This week on the blog we’ll do a full recap of our family vacation with a ton of Cheeks photos to share, as well as some more wedding related posts. We photographed, edited and delivered this couple’s photos two days before we left for vacation, but now we’re finally able to share their Maryland themed engagement session here!
Jamie and George were seriously awesome, we just LOVE working with these two!
There were lots of sunrise photos taken at the beach, and this year we had more than just the sun and the waves to photograph! Two dawn surfers and a flock of seagulls made this year’s sunrise session even better!
