Well it happened, we had the best weekend of shooting ever! And it was jam packed!
The end of the week was spent photographing a gorgeous Bride to be in our Plume Boudoir studio. Then we headed out for an evening stroll through Old Town Alexandria with Megan and Steven as we photographed their engagement session. The weather was just divine and we’ve decided that we love these two. For real. Then Saturday and Sunday were spent working with some pretty incredible people, photographing some seriously gorgeous couples, and having so much fun the whole time. We were honored to photograph Nicole and Kevin’s wedding at Sotterley Plantation on Saturday in what was one of the most memorable ceremonies we’ve ever seen. We watched a Bride literally beam with beauty, a Groom melt to a puddle of tears, and a group of friends who are ten years strong celebrate the wedding day of these two wonderful people. Sunday we got up early, did some local produce shopping, did a little baking, then put on our farm clothes, packed up our gear and headed over to the farm of a long time friend. It was our Farm to Table Styled Shoot day! Thanks to the creative minds of Alicia Jayne Florals and Hitched by Heather, we created a dream team of vendors who brought their A game for this shoot. We can’t say or show you much for now, but trust us when we say this was the most fun we’ve ever had putting a styled shoot together, and the final product exceeded expectations.
Here are some quick sneak peeks at what we were up to this weekend!
