Stephanie and Brian are cut from the same cloth. They are both kind, loving, a little shy, and have enormous respect for their family. Watching these two walk through their wedding day was such a wonderful experience. Both families, both sets of parents were honored and included equally in the wedding day. One of our favorite moments from the day was during Brian’s vows. When a man becomes speechless, puts his hand on his chest and simply says “you’re the love of my life”, we tend to well up with tears ourselves 😉 Our second favorite part of their wedding day came when the rain stopped just in time for portraits. We showed up with 12 umbrellas and tons of rain gear fully prepared for 100% chance of rain all day. But as soon as it was time to set up the bridal party for group photos, the rain just… stopped! We watched the clouds roll by across the water the whole time and kept the umbrellas ready, but never needed them. We worked quickly to get through formals, and ended up having 10 minutes with the Bride and Groom for portraits. With the weather containing to cooperate, we jumped out onto the rocks and stayed there, soaking in as much portrait time as possible. Eventually the rain made it’s return and we jumped under umbrellas for a couple minutes of romantic, rainy photos. Check out our favorites from the day…
Stephanie and Brian, we can’t believe we were able to get you out onto those rocks without any rain! We’re so happy you had the wedding day you were hoping for! It was an absolute pleasure working with you, and both of your sweet families. We wish you nothing but the best! Congrats!! xoxo
