Adriana and Tony :: Woodlawn Farm Wedding Photography

The chances of rain were high. It’s something all couples dread, and although a rainy wedding day is not a big problem, it’s less than ideal. Even our usual optimism had to face reality, and we decided to move to our rain plan. Luckily Woodlawn Farm has plenty of gorgeous places to take photos if it’s raining. Plus, we have our storm jackets and trunk load of umbrellas on hand to help make shooting in the rain possible. Then Saturday arrived, and so did the sun! The nasty weather front held back, got delayed, and didn’t cause us any trouble during Adriana and Tony’s gorgeous wedding day. How lucky! It turned out to be a pretty Spring day with warm air and a constant cool breeze off the water. The sun only snuck behind a few clouds one or twice. The peachy shade of pink Adriana chose as her main color choice, was complimented beautifully by a shade of gray that holds special meaning to the couple. The decor was simply gorgeous, understated but complete. And the cake! Wait until you see the cake! After a touching church ceremony, the couple had time to take portraits along the beautiful property at Woodlawn Farm, then they danced the night away! It wasn’t until 9:30, just as the last songs were playing that the storm came through. It cut power halfway through the very last song of the night, but no one cared. It had been a glorious wedding day.

 

Adriana and Tony… all we can really say is that we love you! You’re both two of the most genuinely kind people we’ve ever worked with. It gave us such joy to watch you both on your wedding day, enjoying the moments as they happened. We’re so grateful you got the gorgeous day you asked for, and we’re pretty sure Adriana’s mom had something to do with that 😉 Enjoy your honeymoon! We’ll see you around town! Love you tons!
