Monday Minutes :: March 30, 2015

Hi! Time again for a quick recap of our weekend to get the week started!

We did a lot this weekend, but didn’t pick our cameras up once. Saturday was an IKEA shopping day! There were a few things we needed for the studio, and since we had the day free it became an all day event. We decided to take The Cheeks along with us, and so what should have been a 3 hour shopping trip turned into a 8 hour shopping extravaganza. It might have taken all day to pick up a new chair and table but at least we had fun doing it!

Yesterday we got to spend the sunny afternoon at the Hearts and History bridal show in Historic St. Mary’s City. It was so great to catch up with some of our favorite people in the wedding industry. Plus, we ran into some of our current couples as they pulled together last minute details to their upcoming weddings, which made the day even better. The weather was a little chilly yesterday, but since we were in a clear covered tent, it was super warm inside and gave us a nice taste of Spring. We always love our trips down to Historic St. Mary’s!

Then late last night we officially closed the voting for our Wedding Photography Giveaway. The votes are now closed, and are currently being counted! The winning couple will be revealed tomorrow! So get ready! Needless to say… we’re excited!

Since our work this weekend was all behind the scenes, we don’t have any photos or sneak peeks to share with you now. So instead we’ll throw this photo of The Cheeks in for fun. Because no blog post is the same without something to look at, and we think these two are pretty cute. Before our weekly friday night family dinner, this sweet little moment happened between the brothers. Luckily, we had a camera ready to go!
