2014 Interns :: Thank You

Some of you may remember our search for a group of interns earlier this year. We were so lucky to have found 4 incredible ladies to work with us, behind the scenes on wedding days. Our interns would rotate in and out of our wedding schedule, coming along each Saturday to assist us as we photographed the day. Just having someone there with us, as a 3rd set of hands, eyes and ears made this year so much better. Our approach to how we photograph weddings is very hands on. Because we become so close with our Brides especially, we become almost like a friend on their wedding day. This means, when something outside of photography needs to get done, we are often times asked to assist. We love this, and we are always ready to do whatever our Brides and Grooms need from us, but it can take us away from our real job of photographic the moments. So when we brought in the interns, they became the problem solvers and we got to continue shooting… not missing anything. Over the course of this year we’ve seen our interns literally sew bridesmaids back into their dresses, take apart and put bouquets back together to make an extra one, keep Grooms laughing through their nerves, hold umbrellas over our heads, powder noses, pass out tissues, organize huge family formal photos, line up bridal parties for the church, hail cabs, and so much more. Without them these days would NOT have gone as smoothly, and we simply can’t remember what it was like to work without their help to lean on.

So today we just wanted to say thank you, to all 4 of you for your support, laughter, assistance, and smiles through it all. You all played a much bigger role in our success than you realize, and for that we again say THANK YOU! You have spoiled us 😉 Love you ladies!
