Monday Minutes :: November 24, 2014

Business

Howdy! Welcome to another Monday, we hope you all had a great weekend!

You guys… this is our LAST Monday Minutes post of 2014! Crazy right?! We’ve said this all year long, but it’s amazing how quickly time has been passing this year. This past weekend was our last official “weekend behind the camera” so to speak of 2014. Our last two engagement sessions took place this weekend, and we have sneak peeks of both to share with you today. After this weekend however, there are no more weddings or engagement sessions scheduled until 2015. Without any sneak peeks to share with you from our weekends, we decided it wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense to continue to do Monday Minutes posts the remainder of the year.

The timing of this season, our break from shooting, and the start of next season couldn’t have been planned any better if we tried  😉  Maggie’s due date is quickly approaching, and that baby in her belly is getting larger and larger, making it harder and harder for her to move around and carry equipment. Thankfully, a January 1 due date is exactly what we needed to give us time to finish out all that we wanted to shoot this year. It also gives Maggie time to recover and get back on her feet before we shoot any other weddings in the Spring.

Don’t worry, the blog isn’t going anywhere for a while. We plan on having daily posts for a few more weeks, and we have so much to look back on! Eventually though, we’ll take the blog into hibernation mode, moving from daily to weekly posts. We’ll talk about this more on another day, but today we want to share with you a look into our last weekend behind the cameras this year!

On Saturday we had the pleasure of working with Rachel and Brandon on a sunny afternoon at Greenwell State Park. These two are so awesome together, we couldn’t get enough! Not to mention… they’re two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. You’ll see more of their session later this week so stay tuned!

On Sunday we met up with Melissa and Rich in Solomons Island. These two rocked every pose, and made our jobs feel a little too easy. We can’t wait to share more with you towards the end of the week…
