Halloween Recap

Personal

Halloween has always been a favorite of Maggie’s, even as a child. But it wasn’t until Sweet Cheeks was born and she had a small town neighborhood to live in that the Halloween extravaganza exploded. For all that it could be, the celebration was actually pretty low key. Just some decorations,  lots of pumpkins, even more food, fun costumes (that must always be hand made) and a night of trick or treating. The whole family was over for a laid back night together. Paw handed out candy while Sweet Cheeks went trick or treating with the rest of the gang. He was such a pro! Even told us all to “stay back, I can do this” and wouldn’t let anyone walk him from the sidewalk to the front doors. He’s so big! When he had made his loop around the neighborhood, we all continued to eat yummy food and pass out candy to the rest of the kids. Such a fun night, we plan on doing this every year! Check out a few shots from Halloween 2014…

Trains, trains and more trains have been a favorite of his for a while now. So naturally he wanted to be a train engineer for Halloween (it’s also what he wants to be when he grows up). And as we’ve done for the past 4 years, he had his photo taken in front of his door steps covered in jack-0-lanterns  🙂

No train engineer can do his job without a proper train. So we both put our brains together to construct this cardboard box train. Lots of tape, left over paper and things around the house helped put this together. He even had a working headlamp!

It wasn’t all that easy to walk in though… we didn’t think that far  😉
