Sweet Cheeks had his first ever field trip last week, and it was just as fun for his mama and LuLu as it was for him… maybe even more 😉
This is the same trip we took together when Maggie was 3. Betty went on this field trip with Maggie, with John, and now as LuLu with Sweet Cheeks. We’ll most likely do it again with the new baby, “brother baby” as Sweet Cheeks is calling him. The most amazing thing about these field trips, is they’ve all been with the same teacher. Mrs. Weimert, was Maggie’s teacher when she was little and is now Sweet Cheeks’ teacher. She’s just as amazing as she was almost 30 years ago, and it’s a delight to watch Sweet Cheeks fall in love with her gentle voice and kind heart. This first pumpkin patch field trip has become a tradition in our family.
The group of 3 year olds had full run of the farm. They had the chance to ride a hay ride, choose their own pumpkin from the patch, feed and pet all the farm animals, and run through the mini “corn maze”. It was a blast! Here are a few shots we remembered to take during the fun…
We wanted to take the white one home. Love the freckles on her nose!
