Share your Story :: Wedding Photography Giveaway

We all have a story. The stories of our individual lives come together when we find our person, our other half, the part of our story that had been missing. And when this happens, our stories become greater, richer with the love that now exists within them. Documenting love stories is our passion, and we are nothing short of grateful for the opportunity to continue to do so through this business. Please understand… this life we both live is a GIFT. Being able to do this work is a blessing. Yes we work hard, but we work hard so that we may live up to the gift we’ve been given. Our stories are greater because of YOU, and we hope this chapter of our lives is a long one.

When life gives you such amazing opportunities, and when gifts are given… you have to give back. You have to find, even through the smallest of acts, ways to give the goodness back to the world. Paying it forward some will call it. Karma, for others. We just call it sharing the goodness. And that is what we set out to do with our 2015 Wedding Photography Giveaway.

We’re fully aware, not all chapters in a love story are happy ones. Like all good love stories, at times things creep up and give us a hard time. Distance, financial hardship, illness… real life events that for some are the end to their love story. For others, these challenging chapters only make their love stronger and their story greater. We’re looking for those couples. The ones who clasp hands, hold on tight, and face life head on. We want to hear your story. Our hope is that when we pass along life’s goodness, your next chapter is a much happier one.

 

 

With excitement, we announce our 2015 Wedding Photography Giveaway! One couple will be chosen to receive a free, full wedding photography collection.

Here’s what we’re giving away: 

Engagement Session

10 Hours wedding day photographic coverage

High resolution images, with printing rights

Online photo viewing and sharing gallery

8×8 Linen photo book

 

Here’s how the giveaway will work:

-Accepting Nominations February 11th to February 17th – Nominations can be made by the couple themselves or by a family/friend/relative.

-February 18th we’ll announce the 3 couples we have chosen to be our finalists.

-Voting will take place February 18th to 20th

-Winners announced February 21st

 

How to enter:

Submit an email to birdsofafeatherphotos@gmail.com with 2015 WEDDING GIVEAWAY in the subject line. Please include the following:

-Couple’s Names

-Name of person/persons submitting the nomination

-Couple’s wedding date and location – Wedding date must be in 2015 – We will travel! Locations outside of DC/MD/VA are eligible (travel fees will apply)

-Photo of the couple to be used for voting round

-The couple’s story, in less than 500 words, explaining their love story and highlighting reasons why they should be considered for the prize

*All eligible nominations will receive a confirmation of their nomination.

 

 

Rules: Eligible couples have a set wedding date at the time of nomination, that takes place between March 1 2015 and December 1 2015 – Wedding date cannot conflict with previously secured dates in the Birds of a Feather Photography calendar – Giveaway open to new inquiries only – Couples who have previously secured a wedding photographer are not eligible – Travel expenses not included. All travel expenses incurred by photographer will be reimbursed by winning couple – This giveaway is not affiliated with any publication or company.

 

*At least 3 couples need to be nominated for this giveaway to continue to the voting round. If less than 3 couples are nominated we will end the giveaway. So make sure to share this with everyone you know! We want to hear those love stories!
