Hello Fall :: A List

Personal

The List… a very important feature to each and every one of our days. You know what we’re talking about, the ever changing, always evolving, never complete to do list. The “don’t forget” lists, the “must do” lists, and the “if there’s time today” lists can be found all over our studio and home offices. With the official start of Fall and the cool nights that come with it, we thought we’d share with you our Fall To Do list. This one is a little larger in scale. It includes things we need to make sure we have a chance to do in this busy but amazing season. Some personal things, some professional… all of them we hope to accomplish before the last bright leaf falls and the season changes again.

So here it is, our Fall List:

1. Officially open our 2015 calendar for weddings (done!)

2. Visit the pumpkin patch with Sweet Cheeks, let him run through a corn maze, ride a tractor, play in the hay and try to gather as many baby size pumpkins as he can.

3. Photograph all of our fall weddings and engagements incredibly well, making our couples very very happy 😉

4. Burn a pumpkin spice candle all day every day

5. Use the crock pot more for easy and yummy cool weather dinners

6. Make time to relax as a family at least once a week

7. Secure the remaining 2014 dates and close the books!

8. Make frequent trips to Starbucks for pumpkin spice lattes (for Maggie) and white chocolate mochas (for Betty)

9. Break out our riding boots, knit scarves, sweaters and wear the heck out of them! (There are limited days where you can get away without needing a coat!)

10. Organize and photograph a fall styled shoot for the Southern Maryland Wedding Guide (oooooh it’s going to be good!)

11. Bake a lot (fingers crossed we can successfully accomplish a pumpkin roll this year)

12. Decorate the studio and office building with corn stalks, pumpkins and mums to celebrate the harvest season!

13. Out-do last year’s Halloween costume and decorations (This one’s for Maggie)

14. Bonfires and s’mores in the backyard

15. Go to the zoo and try to sneak a peek at the new baby panda! (This one’s for Betty)

16. Go trick-or-treating (sweet cheeks will finally “get it” this year)

17. Re-vamp our cold weather wedding outfits (we’re in serious need of help)

18. Go to at least one high school football game… go Warriors!

19. Carve a bazillion pumpkins (everyone gets a few!)

20. Stop, look around, and be thankful… every day

What’s on YOUR list?
