Sara and Matt have this ability make you feel special. They make everyone around them feel like the most important, loved, welcomed person in the room. Well on their wedding day there were over 300 people who felt that way. What we all realized was how important, loved and special Sara and Matt are. This couple was brought into our lives for a reason, and knowing them has been a gift. Truly.
Their wedding day was nothing short of beautiful. Sara was a stunning and classically elegant Bride. Matt was handsome as ever and very dapper looking in his Gatsby inspired tux. The friends, family and bridal party were warm, welcoming and just delightful to be around. The weather was perfect, the sun was gorgeous, every moment was picture perfect, and the landscape of West Virginia caught us off guard with out beautiful it was. Our hearts were so full watching this day unfold. We stayed until the last song was played at the reception. “Country Roads” blasted from the speakers and the crowd gathered close around the new Mr. and Mrs. After holding back our happy tears all day, this was our breaking point. There was such joy! We didn’t want it to end, and we doubt anyone else did either.
Take a look…
Then Sara’s Daddy came in to see her in her dress…
The Groom and his Groomsmen arrived with just enough time for a few stolen photos before the ceremony began…
And then it was time for some portraits of our Bride and Groom…
Reception time!
After dinner, the sun was setting behind the tress and the Bride and Groom slipped away for a few extra photos. Thank goodness they did!
Party time!
Country roads… take me home!
Sara and Matt… there’s a good chance we’ll cry from now on whenever “Country Roads” plays on the radio. It will remind us of you, the love you share, and the joy you brought to us. Congratulations on your new marriage! We hope you’re enjoying Paris right now, sipping some fabulous champagne or strolling through the streets at night. Please know how very special you are to us. You deserve every bit of this life’s happiness. xoxo M&B
