Bringing together a group of incredibly talented wedding professionals, running with an idea, and seeing what happens is one of the most FUN experiences for us. Our first styled shoot was so much fun, we had to do it again. Before we even completed the first shoot, we were planning the next. This time we thought we’d look ahead to cooler days in early Fall for inspiration. Over coffee, we chatted with the ladies of Alicia Jayne Florals and Love Nora Adornments. Alicia and Erika took the reigns and created a stunning display. Deep plum, burgundy, lavender and gold became our chosen colors. With our location being a farm, we knew we wanted to run with the country appeal, but add elegant touches as well. Alicia’s idea for a Chicken and Waffle bar turned into one of our favorite elements of the shoot, and it’s something so practical any Bride could actually use the idea in her own wedding. Alicia’s floral design was perfect, and tied in the shoot’s color theme throughout all the elements of the design. Alicia created floral hoops and hung them from a tree branch to create a ceremony space. Stunning! Erika blew us away with all that she brought in for the shoot, and her attention to deal was so cool to watch. Not only did she bring in a vintage sofa to be placed in a wheat field, she also hand embroidered hankies for our Bride’s bouquets to tie in the colors of our theme! She literally thought of everything. She also hand crafted the rustic table for the chicken and waffles bar! We can’t thank these two women and their teams enough. Without them we’d have nothing to photograph!
Flora Corner Farm was so kind to provide us use of their space, and for so much of the day. Today’s Bride and Formal Wear once again stepped in to save the day and provide two bridal gowns for our models to wear. Dina Thron provided the hair design for our models and we can’t stop talking about how amazing her work is. Natural Looks by Victoria came out to do our models makeup, and she turned already stunning women into photo ready versions of themselves, accentuating their natural beauty without making them look “made up”. She really did such amazing work. Charles Street Bakery provided 5 delightful pies for the shoot and we couldn’t be more excited to have worked with them for the first time. Then of course, there are our models. Amy and Lauren, a real life couple who is not in fact married but willing to pretend for our shoot  😉  We adore these girls. They were so excited to be photographed, and were so willing to do whatever we asked them… they gave so much life to this shoot.
Now… let’s take a look.
