After shooting a wedding this past Saturday, we were up early again on Sunday for the Wedding show at Greenwell State Park. It was a beautiful day and we had a lot of fun. It’s always nice to run into friends at events like this, and we had the pleasure of chatting with some of our favorite vendors in the area. We also had the opportunity to meet new vendors and get to know them a little better! It was a very well done show put on by the talented folks of the Greenwell Foundation. We’d never been to Greenwell State Park before but we gotta say… we’re in love. It’s a beautiful place to get married and we are big fans of it’s simple elegance. The two of us are farm girls at heart, so all we’ll ever need is an old white house, fields, big trees and a horse pasture. Perfect.
The best part about Sunday’s bridal show was the number of really awesome couples we had the chance to talk to and get to know a little better. We had a TON of really great conversations on Sunday, and we’re blown away at how warm and friendly everyone was. It was one of those days where we left giddy at the possibilities ahead of us. Maybe it was a proposal story, or a Bride describing exactly what she’s hoping to find in a photographer, or a Mother of the Bride recalling her own wedding day, or even just a warm and genuine smile… we felt connections starting with so many people. We can’t wait to see where 2014 takes us!
So thank you again, to everyone who stopped by our booth, shook our hands and talked to us. It’s always such a pleasure meeting each and every one of you. Now we want to get to know you better, and hear more of your story. We want to hear more about the type of photography that speaks to you, and the style of photography that you want documenting your wedding day. We’d love to tell you more about who we are, what we do, and where we find our inspiration. We look forward to answering all of your questions, and even making you aware of some you didn’t know you had. In all, our goal is to do what we can to help you find the photography team that is right for you. If that ends up being the two of us… perfect. If not… that’s perfect too. We’ll help to find the photography team that better fits your needs. To do this, we like to schedule a time to grab coffee and chat while you look through our albums.
In the upcoming weeks we’ll be taking a limited number of consultations with interested couples. If you are a 2013 couple we’re sorry to say our calendar is full. For all 2014 couples now is the time to start talking with us if you’re considering our work. The limited dates available in 2014 are expected to be secured quickly in the coming months.
