Hearts and History

This past weekend was a great one! Busy… but great. We finished up our Winter bridal show season with the Historic St. Mary’s City Hearts and History bridal show. As with every show we do, we had the pleasure of chatting with so many wonderful Brides to be, and quite a few Grooms who came out as well. This show is at the top of it’s game; well organized, beautifully decorated, very Bride friendly. And to add to the awesomeness of this day, we got to hang out with a lot of our friends! When you work so closely and so frequently with the same wedding vendors, you build a network and a friendship. In fact, that’s how the I Do Wedding Connection came to be, and a lot of members were at this show. It turned out to be a great day and we look forward to going back next year!

As per usual, we found our way to the cake table. Almond Creek Cakery was there and we were thrilled. Look at these cakes and cupcakes! Gah! Not only did we eat more than we should have, we took quite a few photos of their yummy creations. We had hoped photographing the cakes would keep us from eating so many. Wrong.

Shawn of TreBella Events was just around the corner from our display, which meant we could chat and hang out quite a bit. Love everything this woman does!

 

Our friend Dave of Dave’s Videography Services was set up as well. We’re looking forward to a lot of weddings in 2013 together.

 

Another good friend of ours, Florence, from Smile and Click Photo Booth was around to catch up with. We always love hanging out with Florence, she’s one of the nicest people you’ll ever work with.

Of course no bridal show is complete without beautiful dresses, and the ladies of Today’s Bride were on hand to provide some stunning gowns.

 

We hope everyone who came out to chat with us had a wonderful time at the show on Sunday! Our 2014 calendar is filling faster than we anticipated, and we are beyond excited.
