Hey everyone! It officially feels like a new year today. We still let ourselves indulge on New Years Day, but January 2… that’s the day we get our butts in gear and start working out (again… we do this every year). This morning we had a “working work out” so to speak. While Sweet Cheeks played in the gym’s child care center, we got in an hour of cardio while we huffed and puffed through a business meeting. It was fun actually! Made the hour go by faster than it usually does. Talk about multi-tasking!
The main topic this morning was what is left to be done for our first bridal show of the year. Naturally, it also happens to be our biggest show of the year. Welcome to panic mode! We still have some things to sort out, but all the big items are ready to go. So in reality we have no need to panic.
We’re going to be spending this Sunday at the Washington Bridal Showcase at the DC Convention Center . We’ve never done a show quite like this before, and we’re curious to find out what’s in store for us. Our goal is to enjoy ourselves, represent Birds of a Feather Photography well, and talk to some newly engaged Brides and Grooms. Hopefully, our work speaks to some of them, and we end up connecting with those couples!
