Washington DC Wedding Photographer :: Janell and Alex

October 11, 2017

Janell and Alex were married last Saturday under a canopy of vines at the historic Big Bear Cafe in Washington, DC. Their closest family and friends stood by them as they exchanged vows, and joyfully celebrated, hugged and snapped photos during cocktail hour after the ceremony. As the evening went on, the party moved to Old Engine 12, another historic building in Washington DC for dinner, toasts, cake and lots of dancing. Alex is a friend of ours through work, and when we met his Bride to be, we fell in love with her instantly. We were so thrilled to have the privilege of photographing this amazing couple's wedding day. They are strong, loving individuals... and as a team they are unstoppable. Getting to spend the day with their family and bridal party was such a treat, and we found ourselves falling for the whole group of Bridesmaids and Groomsmen. Everyone was such a joy to be around! Here are some favorites from their big day...   Janell and Alex... we can't thank you enough. We have no doubt that faith, not fate, brought you to us and we are always so grateful for that. God bless you both, and please never lose touch. We can't wait to see what life has in store for you! All our love, M&B

It was truly the most love-filled wedding I’ve ever attended. As I shared with Alex, if there was one in attendance who was not recharged with a heart filled with love and joy, they had to be numb! It was just that much love throughout the entire event! I’m grateful to have experienced such an occasion! By the way, I am the very proud Tee-Tee of the most beautiful bride ever, Janell!
