This weekend was incredible! Wow… what a way to kick off the second half of our wedding season! It was a full weekend with a big wedding on Saturday at Airlie in Virginia, a day of meetings Sunday morning, and we capped it off with an awesome engagement session last night in Solomons Island. It’s always so nice to be back behind the camera after some time off to rejuvenate, but to have couples like these in front of the camera, made it ten times better! Elana and Ryan’s big day at Airlie was nothing short of a real life fairytale. Everything was thought of, the biggest task to the smallest detail was executed perfectly by their planners, and the florals were out of this world! The couple wrote their own vows, and we can’t remember the last time we heard such moving words during a ceremony. Here’s just one of our current favorites from their big day, there are plenty more to come!
Janell and Alex joined us along the water in Solomons Island last night for their engagement session. To be honest, we didn’t want the session to end! The sun was nearly gone, but we just kept going because photographing these two is easy. They’re a dream to work with, fun to be around, easy to talk to, and most importantly they are absolutely in love with one another. Wait until we share the rest with you! For now, here’s a preview!
