Happy Memorial Day everyone! This is a day to be away from the hustle of work to reflect, and to honor the men and women who lost their lives serving our country. Though we will take the rest of this day off, we’re creatures of habit and live for consistency. So… we have our weekly Monday Minutes post for you today!
This time last year, we decided not to take on more than one wedding during Memorial Day weekend in the year ahead. Instead, we would photograph one wedding this weekend, as per our typical schedule, and enjoy two of the three days relaxing and enjoying time with our loved ones. This was a fantastic decision, and we’re so glad we made the call to only do one wedding this weekend! Yesterday we slept in, hung around our homes, did some yard work, and then celebrated Paw’s birthday a day late. It was so nice to have nothing on the schedule! Today, we have even less on the schedule and will probably just spend a lot of quiet time at home. Days like this are rare for us this time of year, so we’ll soak it all in.
Saturday was a beautiful sunny day, and we had the pleasure of photographing a gorgeously styled wedding at a venue we adore. Christa and Conway were married at Robin Hill Farm in what was a beautiful ceremony, and we had the added bonus of working with a lot of friends! From the venue owners, to the coordinator, the floral designer and even some of the guests… we were surrounded by great friends and it made the day so much fun!
