We’re only 5 weeks into 2015 and already things are filling up! Looking ahead in our calendar fills us with excitement! There’s so many wonderful weddings to come this year, and just as many (if not more) engagement sessions. We wanted to mention on the blog today that the 2015 engagement calendar is filling quickly. So as a heads up to all current and future wedding couples, make sure to contact us and get your session on the calendar before all dates are full. You see, not only are we photographing a lot of engagements for 2015 wedding couples, but also for 2016 wedding couples. In the last week, 4 new 2016 weddings have been secured and those couples will be looking forward to an engagement session THIS year. There’s always an overlap of the current year’s couples and the following year’s couples.
Specifically, the Spring 2015 engagement calendar is almost full. We are accepting engagement sessions April through November of this year, and right now April and May are at 90% full and June is right behind with only a few spots left. Fall sessions for this year are also starting to book up fast (it’s the most popular season of all!) so don’t delay! The best advice would be to schedule your engagement session with us right away, no matter what season is your first choice, to ensure you can grab a spot!
But in case anyone is worried, we’re leaving several weeks open in July and August to fill in with extra engagement sessions. We’ll make sure everyone who wants their session this year can have it!
One of our 2015 resolutions/goals is to make sure we keep on track with our predetermined personal schedule for the year. This year we are forcing ourselves to balance our work/life calendar much better than we did last year, and that means we won’t be able to do 7 engagement sessions in a week. In fact, we will do no more than 1 or 2 sessions max. Our minds and bodies deserve a day of rest each week, and we’re going to be hard on ourselves to ensure that happens. By doing this, we’ll be better able to run the whole year long on full power, giving our very best to each and every couple without having to rely on Diet Coke and lots of coffee 😉

If you are a new couple who has recently secured your wedding date, or if you are planning on becoming a BOAF wedding couple but haven’t secured your date yet, don’t wait any longer than you have to! Get your wedding and engagement session booked with us right away!
